Installing an electric heat pump in a rental manufactured home after convincing the owner that it was the right option

My last job as an HVAC contractor was to help my clients with an HVAC installation for their rental manufactured home.

They intended to live there for a while and then rent it out to other tenants, but before that, they had to ensure it differed from similar houses.

They needed cooling equipment installed for climate control and help with indoor comfort, which most fabricated homes did not have. I recommended an electric heat pump because it would be efficient for the small space without wasting energy. My clients had the plan to ensure that they kept up with cooling technology maintenance and any repairs without burdening the client. So, working directly with the HVAC business they intended to contract for future maintenance put them ahead of maintenance chores because they would be sure about quality AC service provision. We installed the electric cooling unit with the cooling technician team from the local cooling corporation. If I remember correctly, it made my client’s house the most fascinating fabricated home. It was a good project to close my contract career with and stick to managing the cooling corporation. I had started as a cooling specialist and then transitioned to a contractor for 20 years, and it was time to let go of the busy field activities. With three other businesses running HVAC services in our local town, my new goal was to become my town’s best local service provider. I figured that with my years of experience, I could guide new technicians into the practice and help clients pick the best equipment for their homes and businesses. I’m only a year into my new career focus, and I love it.
