We thought only one real household needed air conditioning repair.
I was told by the household management company that I needed to get the air conditioning repaired in one of our apartments, but I finally headed over to the building where the occupant lived and told them I was there to repair their air conditioning… Two other occupants were kneeling in the hallway when I approached the first occupant. They told me they had been waiting for air conditioning repairs for the last month! Apparently, they had all reported their air conditioning not toiling around the same time. The management only told me about the last occupant who reported needing air conditioning repair, then while at the building, I eventually looked into the situation and realized there was a breaker switch that had flipped, and no one in the building had air conditioning for over a month. I was definitely angry when I headed over to the household management office. I asked how many people had reported needing air conditioning repair in that building. The person waved her hand and told me she didn’t know. She reported it when she realized there was a problem. I wasn’t cheerful and called the owner of the property… He called household management and wanted to know what was going on. I hadn’t been apprised of the air conditioning repair reports before the entire building was without. When she said she didn’t suppose it was necessary because none of them paid for air conditioning, they fired her. I could only hope the next person they put in charge of the household management team cared more about the occupants and less about how much work they were making for her.
