I Didn’t Have My Condenser Coils Cleaned For Years

I didn’t know that the Heating and A/C professional I was hiring to service my Heating and A/C system wasn’t cleaning the Heating and A/C equipment as well.

I assumed cleaning the Heating and A/C equipment was a part of the price I was paying twice per year. Unluckyly, that wasn’t the case plus I had to find out the difficult way; My boiler was running at all hours of the day plus my energy bill was rising each month, although I was having my Heating and A/C system worked on like normal, however none of the Heating and A/C professionals that came ever told me about an issue with my boiler, so it was peculiar that my energy bill was rising. I had to hire an Heating and A/C professional to come examine my boiler in between my biannual servicings to tell me what was wrong with my boiler. When the Heating and A/C professional arrived, I told him how I was diligent about having my Heating and A/C system worked on although I was still having concerns with my boiler plus the energy bill. After looking around, he told me that my condenser coils were dirty plus they needed to be cleaned. This shocked me because my last Heating and A/C appointment was a month ago! The Heating and A/C professional told me that most Heating and A/C companies didn’t cover Heating and A/C cleaning during a general service. It was a separate fee plus it was recommended to be cleaned at least twice per year. I couldn’t know that I’d gone so long without having my Heating and A/C equipment cleaned. There’s no telling how much dirt was coating my condenser coils, slowing down the efficiency of my Heating and A/C system completely.
