I was too lazy to change the HVAC system air filter
I find that it is genuinely difficult to do things at home after you have worked a job all afternoon.
I never want to do anything but kneel on my couch.
Since I am so lazy I often forget to change my HVAC system air filter. This is not a nice thing for my HVAC system. The more obstructed the filter becomes the harder my HVAC system will have to work. This causes a concern with in my HVAC system. If my system has to work harder that means I will pay more money plus it is more likely to split down. If my HVAC system breaks down I will have to pay extra money to have it repaired. So recently do to my laziness my HVAC system broke down in the middle of the summer. I had to go 3 nights without air conditioner. I did not know how to change the air filter on my own. So I had to wait for the HVAC serviceman to come plus change it for me. I knew that was all that had to be done. I could have avoided this whole repair if I had only changed the air filter after work, and ever since this one breakdown I will surely be on top of changing the air filter now. I do not want to have to keep paying extra money to have the system repaired. It can be too much of a hassle. My advice to you is to take care of your HVAC system plus change the air filters frequently! You could end up regretting it like I do now.
