A Crack in The Heat Exchanger
My spouse was honestly skeptical about installing a gas furnace instead of an eclectic furnace, then my pal and I went back and forth, debating the positives and negatives to each option; Ultimately, the Heating and A/C supplier sided with me and agreed that a gas furnace was the best way to heat our home.
They assured my spouse that everything would be great and if my pal and I followed basic safety protocols, then there was no need to worry about gas leaks or other horrible mishaps.
My spouse was still sad about the gas furnace, even though she agreed to install it anyway. My pal and I always have our Heating and A/C system serviced three times per year by an Heating and A/C professional, because it’s the best way to ensure that our gas furnace is still running safely. My pal and I had an Heating and A/C professional at our home yupterday and while she was examining the gas furnace, she confronted me and told me about a crack in the heat exchanger, however she said it was a serious issue because the crack could expand, causing unwanted gasses to enter our home. There was no reason for a crack to be on the heat exchanger when the gas furnace was so current and thankfully, it was still under warranty. The Heating and A/C supplier was glad to update it for me, but I was undoubtedly adamant that they only contact me about the updatement. If my spouse found out about the crack, she’d panic and insist that my pal and I get an eclectic furnace instead. Thankfully, the Heating and A/C professional had caught it instantly and there were no greater problems… What she doesn’t know won’t hurt her.
