Electric Fireplaces

There is just something amazing about having a fireplace! Growing up, I typically enjoyed going to Granny and Papa’s dwelling because they had the “fire machine.” That’s what I called their old, wood burning fireplace. My Grandfatherrents passed away when I was just ten years old, but they left a beautiful legacy for their grandchildren. One of my number one memories was kneeling on my Papa’s lap right next to the “fire machine” as he told me story after story of “the good seasoned afternoons.” Ever since then, I vowed I would never buy a dwelling that didn’t have a fireplace in it so that I could tell my grandchildren stories beside it one afternoon. When my fiance and I first were married, we rented an apartment. It was cute and cozy, but it didn’t have a fireplace, so my sweet fiance bought one. The proprietor wouldn’t let him install any fireplace except an electric one, so that’s what he ended up getting. I enjoyed the electric fireplace that we had, but it wasn’t the same to me. I missed the odor of burning wood that reminded me of my Grandfatherrents. My friend and I eventually saved up the money to purchase our easily own home. The only requirement that I had was that it had a fireplace in good, working condition. My friend and I looked for months before finally finding the dwelling of our dreams, and it had the most beautiful fireplace I had ever seen. I told my fiance that if we ever end up selling our house, we have to take my fireplace with us to the next house!
