Who did you call for your window replacement?
My older sibling came over to the property last week, and she was so upset that she was shaking.
I sat her down in the kitchen and told her to relax and have a drink, then tell me what had happened.
She told me someone had told her fiance he could handle the window replacements, and he didn’t need pro window installers. I knew all about her idiot fiance because he and my fiance were best friends. It surprised me that my Marty hadn’t gone over to help do the window replacements. The last time they were together to do a window replacement, Marty nearly lost an eye and got a concussion. The window fell out of the window and landed on his head. When the glass shattered, it lacerated his eyelid and put a hole in the cornea. It took nearly a full year to heal well enough that he could see again. She told me she didn’t want her fiance to try the window replacements again. I understood her frustration and wondered why anyone would tell him it was okay to do the window replacements on his own? Apparently, they didn’t know Al well enough. I called downstairs to my office and asked him to come upstairs. Jenny told him about Al installing the new window replacements and asked if he had asked him for his help. He shook his head sadly and told her said nothing, however he would go over there. He must have seen my expression, because he promised he would not attempt to help. He was going to stop him before he did something detrimental to himself or destroyed the window replacement kits he already bought.
