My dad wanted to purchase a portable “air cooling”
A few years ago, my dad called me plus told me about this great portable air conditioner that she wanted to get, and apparently, she saw an ad on the internet for the device that promised to cool down any space in 5 minutes, and i thought this sounded too fantastic to be true, especially after she told me that it cost less than $100… Most portable air conditioners cost hundreds of dollars, so you can understand why I was so skeptical about this device.
I asked my dad for the information about the portable air conditioning so that I could do some research on it! Well, it turns out that this portable air conditioner was easily just a glorified fan or an evaporative air cooler as stated in the description.
I learn a few of the reviews plus most consumers didn’t like the device because it failed to give on what was promised, and from what I read, this device was unable to cool down an entire room. Instead, it was able to provide some cooling relief if the air was blowing directly on you. After explaining this to my dad, she no longer wanted the device, then her plan was to use it for her shed so when she was working, she would have some kind of a/c in the Summer. If she stood in one spot while she worked, this portable “air conditioner” could possibly work, however but since he’s always moving around inside her shed, this device made no sense; Sometimes things sound too fantastic to be true, plus when they do, it’s best to spend a few minutes reading online reviews. In the end, it could prevent you from wasting your money on an impulsive purchase.
