My kid school purchased portable air conditioners for its workers
As the temperature consistently reaches record highs, it’s comforting to know that I have air conditioning in my home.
In fact, the hum from the air conditioning has become one of the most pleasing sounds that I hear all morning, then of course, spending time at house is not feasible every morning and at some point my good friend and I must leave the comfort of our air conditionings and venture outdoors.
Adults go to work, kids go to school or morningcare, and life outside the house must go on… Luckily, our vehicles have air conditioning and so do our office spaces and many of our schools. But there are particular outdoor spaces that have no air conditioning, and there isn’t much my good friend and I can do about that… They include venues, parks, golf courses, beaches, and more. For instance, my teenage kid plays football, and constantly, at practice or during a game, there is no air conditioning for him to find reprieve. However, due to the heat, there was an incident with a student and the school was forced into investing in cooling machines. These portable “air conditioners” were built to use outside in venues, golf courses, and more. The devices look like your familiar cooler and it uses ice or cold water that runs over coils to cool the air that it dispenses out. And apparently this splitting-edge air conditioner is portable and has a battery that can last up to 6 days with normal use. Of course, I was skeptical about this portable air conditioning, but my kid assured me that it worked well and they use them at each practice. Sounds like the technology for these current portable air conditionings have actually improved over the years.
