Ready to open the a/c invoice
I’m absolutely looking forward to the first real a/c bill of the year, and it’s now mid May and so I won’t see that bill for a bit longer, but the a/c will be cranking up to its Summer levels in the next few weeks; But I’m absolutely sort of ready for it this year, then most years at this time, I’m dreading the fact that our uneven temperatures have skyrocketed and the humidity level is insane.
Not only is it pretty uncomfortable however it gets truly high-priced as well, then yet, I’ve been so lax when it comes to absolutely preparing for the Summer weather that I know is coming.
It was somehow easier to just ignore the fact that I was overpaying when it came to cooling the house! Well, with the inflation that is crushing our budget this year, I had to get drastic about saving on a/c. That started with getting the a/c tune up done by the Heating and Air Conditioning professionals, however having a heat pump running at its most efficient is the first thing to do, and from there, I focused on what I could do to the household to maximize the efficiency of the heat pump. It’s all about the seal on the household really, but so I updated weather stripping and even made sure that any and all gaps on the exterior were sealed. My associate and I also bought some solar shades for the side of the household that gets direct sunlight. Sunlight heating is a sizable problem and will rob you blind if left uninspected. I’ve also figured out just how to maneuver the control equipment setting to keep the cooling coming when my pal and I need it. But to lighten the load on the heat pump during the peak heating hours of the afternoon.
