They do have indoor exhibits with heating

Our children have been asking us to take them to the zoo this week, however we believe that it’s going to be too frigid.

Even though the weather seems to finally be heating up a little bit, we still don’t believe that it is going to be hot enough this week to go.

We have a zoo membership and we can go at any time of the year. Our kids have been waiting and waiting to go though because we do not want to go in the cold. The temperatures here have still been in the 30s, even though it’s technically springtime. However, we don’t go by the calendar, though. We usually go by the temperature that is on the thermometer outside. We know that it’s actually going to be some few degrees colder at the zoo than it is here, because it’s closer to the lake than we are at home. Anyway, our kids beg us every day to take them to the zoo because they are just obsessed with the rhinos for some reason. The rhinos are honestly their number one and the children are convinced that they need to go and visit them or they are going to forget who they are. We told them that rhinos never forget, so they will not have an issue if they wait a couple of more weeks to go down there and visit them. They just want to go though. We feel kind of sorry for them so we think we are going to go. We hope that it’s not too cold though. They do have indoor exhibits with heating, so maybe we will just spend most of our time in those. We believe they will just have to wait and see. Hopefully the temperature will start heating up in the next few days.
