Martha, Jim, and I were on a conference call to talk about some business problems. Things were going well, and I was so happy with how far we had come. But my partner and I were having trouble with the shipping. Some of the packages were getting damaged on the way, which was costing us money as well. So, my partner and I had to talk about the best way to ship the packages so we wouldn’t disappoint our loyal customers. Jim asked my partner and me to choose a more high-end option so that we don’t have to deal with as many returns and complaints. It was better for my partner and me to charge a little bit more and make sure they got there in good shape. While my friend and I were talking, I saw that both Martha and Jim had jackets on inside. I asked why they weren’t using their heating, and they told me it had broken down earlier that day. Their condo’s heating system was almost 20 years old, and they knew it was about to break down. Jim said that their weekly bills were going down and that they needed to find a way to replace the old unit. It wasn’t the best time to buy a new unit because it was winter. Soon, Spring and then Summer would come to our area. That was the best time for them to buy a new heating system at a good price for their condo. In the meantime, they were waiting for some space heaters they had ordered online and asked to have shipped the same day. Space heaters are good for warming up rooms, and there wasn’t much winter left.
