A real estate agent needs to work for a real estate broker
My friend Kevin has always been an entrepreneur.
After he graduated college, he had his own marketing company that he successfully ran for 10 years.
So, you can imagine how surprised I was when he mentioned that he wanted to become a real estate agent. After his successful marketing career, the last thing I expected him to do was to move into real estate. But over the years, he developed a love for the industry after he acquired a few properties along the way. Though this is a drastic change for him, I must say that he is fully committed to being a real estate agent. A real estate agent is a licensed professional, who helps clients with the buying and selling of properties. Some of the tasks include providing clients with expert knowledge and advice, search for potential properties for sale, help with price negotiations as well as paperwork and the closing process. In order to fully become a licensed agent, Kevin had to work for a real estate broker for a certain amount of time before he could work independently. It’s been a couple of years now, and he is doing quite well. In fact, when I needed to sell my home and purchase another, I used Kevin as my real estate agent, and he was able to negotiate the best possible deal for me. Just like his marketing company, I have no doubt that Kevin will succeed in the real estate industry. Undoubtedly, he has proven to be successful in whatever he has set out to do.
