After the windstorm, we got new windows
Every one of us live in an area that gets a lot of drastic storms; These storms include high winds, with a lot of rain, snow, or even sleet, but last week, the two of us had a storm that brought tree limbs down and thunder that shook us awake! I could hear the hail hitting our windows, and wondered how long it was going to be before one of the windows broke. I knew our upstairs windows were modern window upgradements, and the glass is literally shatterproof, so I didn’t worry. I wasn’t thinking about the windows in the basement, but every one of us had an aged sliding glass door that led into the enclosed backyard, for ten years the two of us had been talking about getting rid of the glass door and putting in a few windows and one sizable glass door. Every one of us had the window kits in the basement, but the glass door hadn’t yet been removed, and when the two of us got up in the morning, the two of us could assume a blast of cold air coming up the open stairway, my partner went downstairs and I heard him call our name. I walked into the basement, and there was glass all over the floor, then hail had shattered the window, and the two of us had to scrub up the mess. It was time to do some window upgradements and get rid of the aged sliding glass door that was now virtually nonexistent. I called the general contracting supplier in city and asked when they could get rid of the sliding glass door, and give us one door and more than one sizable windows. Even if they installed cheap windows, the two of us had already purchased the heavy duty window upgradement kits.
