Air conditioning work

Yesterday was a bit of a disturbing one for me, as I got messed up on the job.

  • I do not have any fear when it comes to doing heat and air conditioning repairs, as it’s something I’ve been doing for a long time now.

So when I was told that I would have to perform work on an air conditioning unit that was up on a roof, I didn’t think much of it. I’ve done something like that so many times and I was more than used to going up on five story roofs to change air conditioning systems out. Of course, not all of the heating and air conditioning systems are up high like that. However, when you’ve been in the Heating and a/c industry as long as I have, you’ve done this a thousand times and it is easy. As far as I was concerned, it was just another normal day. I climbed up on top of the roof and everything was great, and I had brought up my tools to repair the air conditioning unit. It started when I was making my way back down the old ladder to the ground and my foot slipped and I nearly fell off the darn ladder. I just slipped a little tiny bit, and then I completely veered to the side and nearly fell off. Everything was slippery because it had been raining that day, and I am blessed that I didn’t fall off the high roof. Even when I was walking around up there, my sneakers kept slipping, and so I had to be really careful. Luckily, when I almost slipped climbing down the ladder, I was able to catch myself and stop myself from falling off of it. On the rest of the way down, I kept a tight grip on the ladder and was so careful when carrying the tools. I made it down just fine, and the client got a running heating and air conditioning device once again.
