Animal adoption places and their heating and cooling systems
Just the other day I went into an animal adoption place to see about adopting a dog. I love going to these places and being able to pet and talk to all of the different animals. A lot of these adoption places are from people who can no longer take care of their animals, or the animals have been abused. When I went in there I was immediately greeted by warm air due to the cold air outside. However I wish that there was some more air circulation in the building because with all the different animals being in there the air smelt sour and stale. I feel like any kind of animal adoption place that you go to is going to be like that because of all of the different smells. But I felt like there should have been a more effective ventilation system within the building. There was certainly heat and an air-conditioning system installed but if there was some sort of fan that was installed on the outside of the building that would take the inside air and take the outside air in I think it would be a little bit more effective. Fresh air is always nice and it also eliminates contaminants and viruses in the air. I did see a ventilation system up on the ceiling that must have led to the room where the heating and cooling system was located. Overall the adoption building was really nice but if there was some way that they could combat the smell a little bit better through some extra ventilation I think it could attract more people to adopt pets.
