Difficult decisions when buying quality HVAC equipment
My friend Maya was renovating her house, and she needed to upgrade the HVAC installation for the entire home.
With no experience in the cooling industry, she asked me to help figure out how to get quality HVAC equipment that would fit her budget.
I have a friend who is an air conditioning provider, and I asked him to help us with any helpful information because his air conditioning company is three states away from Maya’s. I was not keen on learning more about air conditioning, so I just gave Maya his contact for them to speak in detail about what she was looking for in a quality air conditioner. He did offer her guidance, but to get everything right, we had to find a local air conditioning technician to help us buy a quality air conditioner fit for the space. Something my friend could not guide on virtually because we needed the expert for the installation too. The a/c serviceman we got at the local business took over the process, assessed the house, and checked on the air conditioning repair that had been done before. Maya claimed she was tired of having to call for HVAC maintenance every summer and winter because something always failed. The eventual solution was a multi-split air conditioning unit for her bedrooms because the outdoor compressor could be placed easily in her backyard. She had a new A/C, so her old thermostat had to be replaced with something more compatible with the new system. I didn’t know that each A/C uses specific thermostats, but the technician’s explanation made sense. I spent the night in Maya’s home the night after the installation was complete, and you can tell from the change in air quality that something good has been done with the space. I love it for her.
