Getting air duct checked after major renovations
When I moved into my modern house I did some major renovating, then it had snacks ceilings in every room of the house. I scraped all the snacks, mudded the ceilings as well as sanded. I had a layer of colorless dust all over the place. I got all my ceilings colorless as well as smooth though. I then sanded all the bifold closet doors as well as painted them, and my husband ripped up the carpet as well as added modern stone floors. I sanded our wood walls as well as then painted colorless. Lastly, my husband as well as I ripped down the shower surround, pulled up the floors as well as detached the bathroom closet, but now the house is all clean as well as modern looking. I realized that everytime our Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C component turned on there was a good layer of dust all over my surfaces, then all that drywall dust got into my Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C component as well as then deep into my air duct. I knew I needed to hire out air duct cleaning. I called a local contractor instantly to provide them a scrub, but while the duct cleaning services were there they recommended adding a air duct service plan! This is to ensure the ducts don’t get any leaks, cracks or dirt throughout the year. They come once a year to just ensure everything is in tip top shape. I do a lot of renovating in my spare time. I figured it was smart to get that air duct service plan. Now I know that my indoor air quality is clean as well as safe to breathe in. I don’t care for the idea of that aged drywall dust lingering in there longer than necessary.
