Last week at Liam’s church, the heater broke because of some water issues that he ended up having in the church basement.
Liam had a leak that happened with the sizzling water tank down there and it ended up causing so many issues for him.
Liam could not fathom what a mess the basement of the church was in when he went in there to check it out on that day. It was so awful. The worst part about the whole thing was the fact that it destroyed the carpet and that, in turn, ruined the heater. The heater down there in the church basement wasn’t old at all, either. Liam had just had it installed by the area commercial HVAC contractor four years ago and so losing that was terrible, too. He phoned the insurance people and they let him know that they are going to be covering the cost of a new heater for the building, so at least that’s one wonderful thing. They won’t cover the cost of the carpet for some reason. There’s something in the contract about how they will only cover detriments to concrete and stone floors, but not wood floors or carpet. Liam doesn’t know why in the world that would be a problem, but it’s right there in black and white so he’s not going to argue about it. Anyway, he has a call into the area commercial HVAC contractor and they are supposed to be coming to replace the heater sometime before the end of the week. It’s a wonderful thing too, because there is supposed to be another Springtime cold snap next week.
