HVAC helping me breathe and feel better
I really didn’t have any clue just how important it is to have clean air inside our homes. To my way of thinking, this was just something that was a given. The bad air was outside in cities with factories and too many cars emitting noxious exhaust. There was no way the air inside the central air conditioning of my home was polluted. That just didn’t make any sense to me at all. Little did I know, the indoor air of my home was actually adversely affecting my health. This was such a huge surprise to me and I could hardly believe it. Had it not been for my doctor explaining the importance of good indoor air quality, I might not have believed it. When it comes to the quality heating and air in our home, those are my responsibilities. I make sure I change the air filter on time each month and I even signed up for the HVAC service plan. The HVAC service plan is an HVAC maintenance based program that ensures my HVAC equipment is maintained throughout the year. However, I ignored the emails and coupons for ductwork cleaning because I didn’t really think we needed it. Until my doctor suggested that we get ductwork cleaning and upgrade to a HEPA filter, I hadn’t even considered either of those options. But the fact that I was actually having all these prolonged respiratory conditions wised me up to the fact that indoor air quality is essential. So I had the HVAC professionals come out and do the ductwork cleaning and ductwork resealing. As per the doctor’s orders, I upgraded to a HEPA filter. Since then, I have felt great and I’m breathing easier every day.
