I didn’t know there was a such thing as bee rescue

I know this is going to sound kind of dumb, but I didn’t realize there was such a thing as bee rescue. I knew there were bee exterminators and bee removal, but not bumble bee help. Apparently there are actually quite a few honey bee rescue places around here. And when you think about it, it makes sense. Honey bees are endangered, and since they are so important for our environment, we can’t afford to lose them. However, I do know that there are some places and companies that also offer bee extermination as well, and instead of rescuing the bees and sending them to a local honey farm, they are instead killed. I don’t really think they should be killed, when they could easily be sent to a honey farm, so they could make honey for sale with them. Beekeeping and honey is surprisingly popular, so it’s not like there is not enough demand. I see videos on beekeeping a lot actually. I know with yellow jackets and wasps, they are often killed because they don’t offer the same benefits, as well as they are often aggressive and sting people in residential and commercial areas. Wasp rescue doesn’t make any sense, but honey bee help does. Do you understand what I am saying? And why it would make more sense to preserve the bumble bees and honey bees. That is just my opinion and it is not going to stop the businesses that do kill them, but I thought I would share my thoughts.
