I Didn’t Turn Off The Heating and Air Conditioning System Before Replacing The Air Filter

This is the first apartment I’ve ever owned before and with that came a lot of challenges, but i had to learn how to mow my sod, how to pull weeds, and how to maintain my Heating and Air Conditioning system.

Thankfully, I knew how to hire an Heating and Air Conditioning professional to come repair my Heating and Air Conditioning system for me twice per year.

I always hired an Heating and Air Conditioning professional during the Fall and the Spring because those were the times I was switching between my boiler and cooling system. I didn’t know anything about Heating and Air Conditioning unit and I had no interest in learning, which is why the Heating and Air Conditioning professional was essential. I didn’t care how much I had to pay because I wasn’t willing to do it myself, during one of my Heating and Air Conditioning appointments, the Heating and Air Conditioning professional told me that it would be helpful to upgrade my air filter in between my appointments. The air filters I was using were filling up hastily and allowing dust and debri to enter the air in my home. The congested air filter was also causing my Heating and Air Conditioning system to run less efficiently, but he showed me how to upgrade the air filter and I was grateful. However, when I tried to upgrade it on my own separate from the Heating and Air Conditioning professional’s supervision, I made a big mistake. I forgot to turn off the Heating and Air Conditioning equipment, so when I took the dirty air filter out, a lot of dust and debri started blowing around. The Heating and Air Conditioning professional made it look so simple. It took me 30 minutes after I had to wash up my mess when it only took him 5 minutes.
