I Didn’t Turn Off The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C System Before Replacing The Air Filter
This is the first home I’ve ever owned before and with that came a lot of challenges.
I had to learn how to mow my sod, how to pull weeds, and how to maintain my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system… Thankfully, I knew how to hire an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional to come service my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system for me twice per year.
I respectfully hired an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional during the Fall and the Springtime because those were the times I was switching between my boiler and a/c. I didn’t know anything about Heating, Ventilation, and A/C component and I had no interest in learning, which is why the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional was essential. I didn’t care how much I had to pay because I wasn’t willing to do it myself! During one of my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C appointments, the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional told me that it would be helpful to replace my air filter in between my appointments. The air filters I was using were filling up hastily and allowing dust and debri to enter the air in my home. The blocked air filter was also causing my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system to run less efficiently, she showed me how to replace the air filter and I was grateful. However, when I tried to replace it on my own without the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional’s supervision, I made a giant mistake. I forgot to turn off the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C equipment, so when I took the dirty air filter out, a lot of dust and debri started blowing around. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional made it look so easy. It took me 30 minutes after I had to disinfect up my mess when it only took him 5 minutes.
