I got stuck dealing with the woodstove
I have l earned that when buying a house, the seller regularly tries to screw you! It doesn’t matter if you believe the person or you don’t, they want to get the best deal possible for them! The person will make your life irritated over a few bucks.

I hate the constant haggling plus nitpicking over small things. The real estate agent just wants to make the greatest percentage possible. They are not incentivized to get you a nice deal. They frequently unnecessarily jack up the price plus tell you to bump up your offer when it isn’t needed, and how mean is that? When I bought our condo I spent way too much on it because I couldn’t get anyone to labor with me. I also had a horrible seller. The guy took everything plus left his garbage, then what actually angered me is that the guy had an aged wood stove for a fourthary heater. It wasn’t necessary to the house. I tried plus tried to get the guy to remove that furnace before the sale. I didn’t want to deal with it. I was willing to spend money more money to not have to deal with that furnace, and nope, the first morning I moved in I was greeted by that ugly heater. I ended up having to smash the cement pad it sat on, patch the ceiling it was vented to plus call roofers to remove the stack on the house. I then had to sell the furnace to the local Heating plus Air Conditioning supplier plus fix our kitchen floor. It was a horrible process that I ended up being stuck with.
