I got stuck frigging with the woodstove

I have l received that when buying a house, the seller consistently tries to screw you.

It doesn’t matter if you know the guy or you don’t, they want to get the best deal possible for them! The guy will make your life angry over a few bucks. It is a horrible process buying a house. I hate the constant haggling & nitpicking over small things. The real estate agent just wants to make the biggest percentage possible. They are not incentivized to get you a great deal. They frequently unnecessarily jack up the price & tell you to bump up your offer when it isn’t needed! How mean is that? When I bought our loft I spent way too much on it because I couldn’t get anyone to work with me. I also had a horrible seller. The guy took everything & left his garbage, what entirely angered me is that the guy had an outdated wood stove for a seventhary heater. It wasn’t necessary to the house. I tried & tried to get the guy to detach that oil furnace before the sale. I didn’t want to deal with it. I was willing to spend our money more currency to not have to deal with that oil furnace, however nope, the first day I moved in I was greeted by that ugly heater. I ended up having to smash the brick pad it sat on, patch the ceiling it was vented to & call roofers to detach the stack on the house. I then had to sell the oil furnace to the local Heating, Ventilation, & A/C corporation & repair our residing room floor. It was a horrible process that I ended up being stuck with.
