I had to wait a few minutes in the heat

Graduation services were supposed to be held inside the building this year; For the past 10 years, graduation services have been held indoors, however it was an issue that started due to rain, however people loved being inside instead of outside because of the heat and humidity. Graduation services held in the auditorium are climate controlled with A/C, as the head custodial engineer, it is our responsibility to make sure the heating and A/C system regularly works well! This can often be a problem while in the Summer weeks. The heating and A/C system is about 50 years old. I’ve fixed a lot of complications throughout the years, however it legitimately is time for the university board to make replaces. This year while in the graduation exercise, the two of us did not have any A/C at all. It absolutely would have been cooler to hold the exercises outside, however the auditorium was already decorated and things were set up. The people I was with and I opened up the doors, however it was still incredibly hot, but several parents complained about the air conditioner and some people wanted to postpone graduation services. It would have been a lot more work to move the whole event to a odd day. The university went through with the services, despite more than 2 objections and complaints, and many parents opted to take their kids home, however the two of us still had over 200 seniors walk up to the stage to get their diploma. It was a long and boiling day, however most of the parents and students didn’t seem distraught after seeing their kids graduate. The university did not fix the A/C complications until a month before the modern university year.
