I have to call my HOA when I have HVAC issues

Overreaction is definitely rampant these afternoons; but, this especially true when it comes to people who have just a smidgen of authority… And still, I’m genuinely getting our fill of this automatic hostility as well as defensiveness that is pervading our culture… But this has never been more true given the way the HOA has reacted to a minor heating, ventilation, as well as A/C issue at our home; and first of all, I should say that I agree that having rules as well as regulations are beneficial when it comes to ensuring property value remains steady… Then I genuinely don’t want to have our property value come down because somebody has several used cars on blocks in their yard.

So I get the reason my buddy and I need a real HOA… But the concern inherently is that my buddy and I provide just a little bit of authority to people who are power hungry.

This is clearly evidenced given their overreaction to a small heating, ventilation, as well as A/C situation at our house. The central heating, ventilation, as well as A/C at our loft is not supposed to be seen from the street. This is 1 of the HOA rules. It seems as if it’s a fairly arbitrary rule as well as I don’t genuinely understand what the purpose is. I mean my buddy and I all have heating as well as cooling components so I don’t guess what the big secret is; but however, I have complied with that rule by having a privacy hedge that screens the residential heating, ventilation, as well as A/C. But unluckily, our landscaping folks ended up trimming it way back as it was sort of unhealthy. And this resulted in the heating, ventilation, as well as A/C component being able to be seen from the street. I’m now doing our best to calm the waters with the HOA until it can grow back.
