I love a sunroom with a heating and cooling system
We didn’t have to hunt too long when it came to finding this house.
And I suppose my fiance and I were sort of ready for the process of finding our retirement apartment to be a huge road… So we sort of started in earnest nearly 18 weeks before we retired; but the process itself was sort of a fun a single, and that’s because we got to leave the cold and our gas oil furnace for 4 afternoons to go south to better weather in search for a new home, what’s so ironic is the fact that we ended up finding the apartment we wanted on our entirely first trip… But of course, we did not make an offer immediately! My fantastic friend and I came home, cranked up the heating, ventilation and A/C and talked for a long time about it before pulling the trigger.
My fantastic friend and I weren’t exactly super gleeful about paying a mortgage on an apartment we weren’t going to live in for a year. But it also allowed us to do some things to the property prior to us moving in there when we retired. The apartment we found was in good shape structurally but it needed plenty of renovations, and that is a single of the reasons we found it at such a good price and just could not pass it up. Among the things that we had to do was to upgrade the old central air conditioning with new residential heating, ventilation and A/C. My fantastic friend and I chose the sort of residential heating, ventilation and A/C that came with plenty of heating, ventilation and A/C technology as well. But another thing that had to be done was upgrading the sunroom. The sunroom had been attached after the apartment was built. But we decided to open up the whole section and add ductless heat pumps so it was entirely more just an extension of our home.
