I needed hot tub services.
My husband came home from work last month, and he had a huge hot tub in the truck.
I hadn’t ordered a hot tub, and my husband always asked my opinion before he ordered such a large item.
He was all smiles when he got out of the truck and pointed to the hot tub. He told me he got it for free when his coworker’s wife said she didn’t like it. He told me we were going to put it in the patio room, and it was going in-ground. I knew this was going to be a lot of work, and my husband didn’t know how it should be done.. He talked to a friend who had a friend that did hot tub services. He would sink the hot tub into the ground, lay tile, and complete the electrical service. Five thousand dollars later, my free hot tub had been sunk into the ground, but the tiles were crooked and looked like our three-year-old had done the work. I called a licensed hot tub installation company and told them I needed emergency hot tub services. The man we had paid hadn’t done the wiring properly. The lighting didn’t work, and there was no spa action. Compounded with the poor in-ground job and the tiling, we were now going to pay another $5,000 to $10,000 for hot tub services. I told my husband to cancel the check he gave the other guy, and we were going to take him to court for the damages he did to our patio..
