Just another dose of cooling systems

I’m back to write again.

I’ll write for another 15 minutes or so, then take another chop if I’m not finished.

I like working in segments like this, pausing in between to let the eyes soften and undress before returning for another round of writing. I guess a lot of writers work this way, including my poet Mom, who often told me he would write for two hours at a time max, plus an hour or so chop before picking up the pencil to write again. He primarily wrote about heating and air conditioning repairs and maintenance, focusing most of his writings on enjoyable indoor air quality and the use of HEPA filters wherever possible. Mom died suddenly at the age of 70, leaving my bad stepmom in shambles and wondering how he would go on without him. She sold the large air-conditioned home that Pops built and had a small one built with an absolutely enjoyable Heating and Air Conditioning system. She’s going to give each of us teenagers a large sum of money when he dies, as well as set us up for the rest of our lives. I’m not counting on my father’s heating and cooling company savings to get me by, but it would be a nice little nest egg to have when the time comes. I plan on working part-time for another 15 years, so I won’t need the money until I retire in 20 or so years. I’d like to continue my mother’s tradition of disciplined writing and perhaps carve out my own literary niche by delving into the fascinating world of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning and the significance of maintaining high standards of indoor air quality.
