Living in remote area and appreciating security system
I live in a very remote area.
There isn’t another house within ten miles of mine.
I need to drive thirty minutes just to reach the nearest gas station and grocery store. Since I work from home, the lack of amenities in close proximity isn’t a problem. I have the majority of my supplies delivered. For the most part, I appreciate privacy, peace and quiet. I enjoy spotting wildlife from my windows. However, there are times when the solitude makes me a bit nervous. Having a home security system installed has given me reassurance in my safety. The home security system includes lights located all the way around the perimeter of the property that are motion-activated. I also have surveillance cameras. I typically get text alerts and videos of deer, turkeys, raccoons, rabbits and foxes crossing my property. I also have sensors on all of the windows that prevent anyone entering or breaking the glass without setting off the alarm. The automated door locks allow me to secure the house without getting out of bed. I can easily check to see who is standing on my doorstep and even converse with them without opening the door. The home security system also includes 24/7 monitoring. If someone or something does set off the alarm, I’ll get a phone call and need to provide the security code. If I fail to answer or supply the proper code, the authorities are immediately notified and dispatched. I also have the added protection of flood sensors, carbon monoxide detection and smoke detection. The many features of the security system give me peace of mind.
