Multi-split air conditioning system for the office
Our company found new office space, but the only downside was the need for quality HVAC equipment.
I was only working there as an office assistant in my gap year, but I got to help a lot, especially in tasks that required research and service delivery to the office.
I ended up on the procurement team researching our options for a quality air conditioner that would handle the air quality needs for all the rooms in the office space. The cooling industry has grown, and the procurement manager felt we needed to involve an air conditioning technician from the local air conditioning company in the process. I went to book us in for a physical consultation at the office, where we got the a/c serviceman to visit the property and recommend the best HVAC installation. The office has one boardroom and four more offices from which the rest of the staff and managers work. According to the air conditioning provider, we could install a multi-split system in the offices. With a thermostat for each room, we could regulate each unit independently without affecting the others based on our needs. Once the units were installed, the expert taught us all how to work around the thermostats and general HVAC maintenance, saving the company from having to call in for air conditioning repair sooner than expected. Within that short hour, we all learned more about air conditioning than we’d ever thought we’d need to. The boardroom stays off most times unless we have a meeting, but the rest of the office space is always set to a comfortable temperature for everyone in it. You’ll still hear the complaints that it is too hot or cold, but it’s most comfortable for everyone.
