My cousin just got his HVAC certification
I’ve been hanging out with my cousin a lot ever since we are both little kids.
We grew up in the rural countryside of a fairly highly populated county up north. Since we didn’t have many neighbors around, our parents would visit each other’s homes and that’s where we would do most of our socialization. Needless to say, my cousin became my best friend out of necessity and not by choice. We had no other friends to hang out with so the two of us would go exploring in the woods most days. We don’t force out of whatever supplies we can rummage from our parents’ garages. They also spend a lot of time swimming at the lake in our neighborhood. That was the place where we first met our initial girlfriends when we were young. Recently I haven’t been able to see my cousin as much because he’s been living in a different city as I have. When I last spoke to my cousin, he was attending trade school to be a heating and cooling technician. When I talked to him today, he told me that he finally passed his test and he got his HVAC certification. He starts his new job as a heating and cooling technician next week. He’s really excited but he’s also fearful. He doesn’t want to disappoint his new employers and he wants to make a good impression with his co-workers. I told him to just be himself and not worry about trying to perform for anyone. I hope that my cousin has a good first day at the heating and cooling company.
