My dad wanted to purchase a portable “air conditioner unit”
A few years ago, my dad called me plus told me about this good portable air conditioner system that he wanted to get, then apparently, he saw an ad on the internet for the component that promised to cool down any space in 5 minutes… I thought this sounded too good to be true, especially after he told me that it cost less than $100, most portable air conditioner systems cost hundreds of dollars, so you can understand why I was so skeptical about this device.
- I asked my dad for the information about the portable air conditioner so that I could do some research on it; Well, it turns out that this portable air conditioner system was honestly just a glorified fan or an evaporative air cooler as stated in the description.
I learn a few of the reviews plus most consumers didn’t like the component because it failed to supply on what was promised, from what I read, this component was unable to cool down an entire room. Instead, it was able to give some cooling relief if the air was blowing directly on you. After explaining this to my dad, he no longer wanted the device… His plan was to use it for his shed so when he was working, he would have some kind of air conditioner in the Summer. If he stood in one spot while he worked, this portable “air conditioner system” could possibly work, and but since he’s always moving around inside his shed, this component made no sense… Sporadically things sound too good to be true, plus when they do, it’s best to spend a few minutes reading online reviews. In the end, it could prevent you from wasting your currency on an impulsive purchase.
