My writing career for the heating business
After getting enough information about the electric heater, I started writing the article
When I graduated from college with a degree in linguistics, I decided to work as a freelancer. I started copywriting for different companies in different industries. I quickly became an expert in my field and gained more confidence to write for various industries. One industry that I enjoyed writing for was the HVAC industry. I started looking for customers in the said field. I was ecstatic when I got a request from a leading heating business to write several copies for their website. I would be reviewing different heating devices. They paid very well after they discovered my excellent writing skills. The comments under the first copy were incredible and earned the company many customers. I learned much about this partner company, including the different departments, such as the heating technicians responsible for heater maintenance and repairs. HVAC suppliers dealt with upselling other heating equipment, including electric heating systems and their accessories like the HEPA filter. The second article was about upselling the new electric heat pump and the HVAC servicemen that would install and maintain it. I needed to outline the benefits of the heater and the regulator that was compatible with it, like the wireless thermostat. I did my research which involved speaking to the HVAC professionals that worked in the company, as I needed to learn more about the equipment. After getting enough information about the electric heater, I started writing the article. It turned out amazing. The company was thrilled with my work, and I have since been their copywriter for all their website materials. I have kept my word to myself to become a freelance writer, which has earned me a lot of money.
