No water at my house

Last Monday, I was glad to get up in the day & not need to head straight into work, then for once, I had a free day legitimately to myself, but as soon as I crawled out of bed, brushed my teeth & put up my hair, I dressed for an outdoor run, i laced up my sneakers & went through a very thorough warmup & stretch of my muscles.

With no time constraints, I decided on an especially long & hard route, and the route I chose winds around the town, climbs uphill, circles a very large & old cemetery & takes me twelve miles to return home.

When the weather is cool, the run is challenging. That Monday, the temperature climbed steadily into the mid eighties. There was no hint of a breeze, & the humidity was absolutely brutal; By the time I arrived in my driveway, I was dripping sweat & exhausted. I went through my cool down, gulped my water bottle & was absolutely happy to take a cool shower, and unfortunately, I discovered that I had no water, however since I have no clue how to repair a water problem, I called a plumber & explained the situation. The receptionist was very nice & promised to have a worker at the house within a couple of minutes. When the plumber showed up, I apologized for being wet with sweat & odory. I then waited another minute while he completed the repairs. By the time I finally got to take my shower, my exhilaration over the run had worn off.
