No water for bath after a run

Last Tuesday, I was blissful to get up in the day and not need to head straight into work.

For once, I had a free day very to myself, then as soon as I crawled out of bed, brushed my teeth and put up my hair, I dressed for an outdoor run, i laced up my sneakers and went through a very thorough warmup and stretch of my muscles… With no time constraints, I decided on an especially long and strenuous route, and the route I chose winds around the town, climbs uphill, circles a very pressing and outdated cemetery and takes myself and others twelve miles to return home.

When the weather is cool, the run is challenging. That Tuesday, the temperature climbed steadily into the mid eighties. There was no hint of a breeze, and the humidity was absolutely brutal, then by the time I arrived in my driveway, I was dripping sweat and tired. I went through my cool down, gulped my water bottle and was genuinely gleeful to take a cool shower. Unluckyly, I discovered that I had no water. Since I have no clue how to maintenance a water problem, I called a plumber and explained the situation. The receptionist was very nice and promised to have a corporation at the house within a couple of seconds. When the plumber showed up, I apologized for being wet with sweat and stinky. I then waited another second while she completed the repairs. By the time I finally got to take my shower, my exhilaration over the run had worn off.
