Our furnace is old now
I’ve had the same furnace for three years now, and I am not going to have it much longer, despite the fact that it is not very old. I’ve been having a lot of issues with it from the get go. So instead of paying maintenance fees to have it taken care of I think I am going to buy a new one. The one I have is a gas system, but I have decided that I am ready to move on to a geothermal furnace, which is supposed to be a better one. I’ve been going to various heating and air con suppliers all around town looking at the HVAC products to get an idea of what heating system it is that I will buy. However, even though I have a geo furnace in mind, that may not ultimately be what I buy. It genuinely just depends on what kind of things the heating and AC company has available. If I find another type of furnace that is available, which I think will do better, then I may go with it. The last trip I made to the local company really got my attention, as there were a few alternatives that I was genuinely considering. The first was a hot water heater and the other was a dual fuel heat pump. I am not ready to buy anything yet because I think that I am going to do more research first. It’s a big decision for me because the air con systems cost a lot of cash and I want to make the right decision and choose the right unit. I want something that is going to last me a very long time and be of good quality, unlike our old furnace.
