Purchased two roofs during a home sale
I seem to be the guy that just buys roofs for people! I was in the process of selling my home plus moving into another locale! When I was selling my home the buyers were worried about the roof… They wanted a whole up-to-date flat roof put on it.
I was trying to talk them into flat roof repair or even a flat roof repair… Nope, they wanted all brand up-to-date or they were going to walk.
When you consider a whole home sale plus a up-to-date roof, it is peanuts, but so I gave in. I gave them a flat roof but I wasn’t too kind. I told the roofers to use the cheapest materials they had. I told them to split corners plus save me currency. Why do I care if they have a great roof? I truthfully feel the up-to-date roof is worse than the outdated one. It absolutely looks weird. It also is an ugly color due to the discount price. Not my problem. What sucked is that my up-to-date home acutally needed a up-to-date shingle roof. I had to use those same roofers on my up-to-date home however it was a whole unusual story. I told them to take their time, use the best kind of shingles, match the exterior of my home plus make it perfect. My up-to-date shingle roof is just gorgeous. It was more than double the cost of the other roof, however but I am blissful that I have it. What was awful was paying for two roofs during a home sale plus a buy. It was a legitimately stressful time in my life. I am just blissful I don’t need to worry about roof replacement anymore.
