Ready and excited for my window air conditioning
I can’t believe that I’m getting a new window air conditioning system this week! I know some people might not think much of it, after all it’s not super fancy it’s just a window air conditioning system, but I have never had an air conditioning system that’s portable before and so I’m super excited for it.
I live in an environment where it’s really hot and Sandy you’re around.
I quite literally live out in the middle of the desert. As you can imagine it gets really hot here, and the summers are almost unbearable. Every year no matter how hard I try to avoid getting a sunburn I get sunburned by that intense Summer Sun. The sun is a whole different story when you live in a desert climate. Recently I’ve been trying to stay inside as much as possible and putting on lots of sunscreen as soon as I go outside. I tried to cover myself from head to toe to protect myself from the Sun and wear a large Sun protecting hat. Only within this past year if I’ve been able to save myself from the burning heat. Because it’s so hot here I’m sure you can imagine the air conditioning systems are really important to have. I don’t know a single building here that doesn’t have an excellent quality air conditioning system. Nobody wants to stand around burning up and that heat! I have an excellent central air conditioning system that always does a super good job of protecting me from the heat outside, but I decided that I was going to get a window air conditioning system in addition to the central AC system so I have a backup. Most people around here have a backup because even if you have your AC system tuned up in service, sometimes the heat can be too much for even the best air conditioning systems. I don’t plan to be without heat and so it’s good to have a backup. The window AC system is my plan b and if that fails and I have a plan c, which is several stand fans. Naturally plan a is my central AC system, luckily it’s been doing fine and I haven’t had any issues with it. I hope to keep it that way.
