The ductwork needed to be patched

For the past week or so, I have been worrying that maybe it was time for a furnace substitutement! Admittedly, I was a little unsure about that idea, because the furnace system was only 8 years old, which seemed awfully young for a substitutement! But I didn’t know enough about heating in addition to air conditioner machines to really say for sure.

All I know is that my loft never seems to stay hot anymore.

But before I dared get any ideas of heating in addition to cooling substitutement, I knew the best idea would be to contact a Heating in addition to A/C specialist in addition to ask for their professional advice, however when the heating in addition to A/C serviceman arrived, she took a long in addition to thorough look at both my air conditioning component in addition to heater, in addition to then she looked at my ductwork, but thankfully, I would not need my ductwork substituted after all, it turned out it was just a sealing issue. The ductworks had a lot of small holes in them, in addition to the air conditioning worker told me that once they were sealed, my loft would start warming up again as it should. This was great news, because ductwork sealing is a lot cheaper than Heating in addition to A/C installation. The cooling serviceman was able to patch up the holes the same day, in addition to when she was done, she left, but i easily observed a difference afterwards, my loft felt hot in addition to toasty. I am blissful that it turned out to be such a simple issue, because I was afraid of an fancy furnace installation, but ductwork sealing is something I can handle.
