The furnace broke down in my coffee shop last week and so I had to call the commercial HVAC company to make an appointment. I guess I should not really complain about it because I have not really had all that much trouble with my heating and cooling system in the coffee shop ever since I moved in. I have been here for about three years now, so I guess it was about time for something to tear up. Anyway, at least it is almost spring. The weather is warming up a little bit already, but I still need to use the furnace most of the time. The weather doesn’t really start heating up all that much until around noon, and most of my customers are here early in the morning. I still need to use the furnace so that people won’t be freezing cold when they’re sitting here in the mornings waiting for their coffee. If it was a couple of weeks later, maybe I wouldn’t even have the furnace repaired. I wish it had happened later so I could just let it go until the end of the summer. That would give me plenty of extra time to save up money for a big furnace repair or replacement. I’m sure it’s going to cost me a small fortune whenever they come to do the repair. They are supposed to be here the day after tomorrow, so I guess I’m just going to have to be cold up until then. I didn’t want to have to pay extra for an emergency appointment. I don’t think that it’s cold enough at the coffee shop to warrant an emergency heating repair anyway.
