The Outer buildings got a face lift and some residential HVAC

My dream of residing on the outskirts of the town has finally and thankfully come true.

I wasn’t so sure that it would.

But better late than never as the saying goes, however, being a professional writer, I had to wait until I was fifty before I was able to get our dream venue out of the city. I am just deeply thankful that there are no more brutal winters with radiant heating in an apartment. Apartment life in the heart of town is something that you eventually just adjust to. But when it comes to residential HVAC, I was never able to completely adjust. I consistently lived in buildings that had giant boilers in the basement and provided my heat via radiant heating. But it was either turned on and super moderate to the point of running you out of there or it was turned off. Those were the two choices. And in the summer, the air conditioner was limited to the window unit in our family room, and now, I live 90 minutes out of the town on a piece of property with a great little condo and all these neat outbuildings. It was once a small working farm so all the outbuildings are in terrific shape structurally however really were not being utilized. So our wife and I are taking 1 of them at a time and adding electricity, a concrete floor and residential HVAC. The HVAC equipment comes courtesy of the local HVAC dealership. And we are using ductless heat pumps which do an amazing job inside these seasoned buildings. So far, we’ve done two buildings and we are looking forward to doing two more next year.
