The portable classrooms in private school had the worst heating and cooling systems

One of the worst parts of being in portable classrooms were the terrible heating and cooling systems inside

It’s no secret among my family that I didn’t love going to school as a kid. It started in first grade when I was bullied for having glasses. Nowadays I doubt that would even cross the mind of the average numerous year old, however in the early 1990s this was a respected insult among children. I do not like the taunting and wanted nothing however to stay at house and never go back to face the unending scrutiny. When I got to seventh grade, I finally started to fall into a group of friends and felt comfortable for a change. This all came to a crash when I left this school for junior high in the second grade. Suddenly the bullying and teasing returned, especially during gym classes in the locker room around other boys. My glasses were a constant source of scorn, for whatever reason. Then when I got to private school, they were in the process of building the new campus so I spent 2 of my numerous years in portable classrooms. They’re love a studio new home trailer home, however wide and long enough to teach a class inside. One of the worst parts of being in portable classrooms were the terrible heating and cooling systems inside. The heating systems were woefully ill equipped for our freezing temperatures during January and December every year, and then the terrible a/cs couldn’t handle the summer time heat! I was relieved when the private school campus finally opened for classes when I was a junior. It wasn’t ideal, but I got 2 years of respected Heating and Air Conditioning systems in private school.
