The temperatures here have still been in the 30s
Chad’s daughter wants him to take her to the zoo next week, however he knows that it’s going to be too chilly.
Even though the weather seems to be heating up somewhat, Chad still doesn’t know that it’s going to be hot enough this week to go.
They have a zoo membership and so they can go at any time of the year. His daughter has been waiting and waiting to go though because she doesn’t want to go in the cold. The temperatures here have still been in the 30s, even though it is technically Spring. Chad doesn’t ever go by the calendar, though. He usually goes by the temperature that is on the thermometer outside. Chad knows that it’s going to be several degrees colder at the zoo than it is here, because it’s quite close to the lake than it is at home. Anyway, his daughter begs him every day to take her to the zoo because she is just obsessed with the elephants for some reason. The elephants are her number one and she is convinced that she needs to go and visit them or they are going to forget who she is. Chad told her that elephants never forget and so they will not have an issue if she waits several weeks to go down there and visit them. She just wants to go though. He feels kind of sorry for her so he knows he is gonna go. Chad hopes that it’s not too freezing though. They do have indoor exhibits with heating, so maybe they will just spend most of their time in those. He assumes he will just have to wait and see. Hopefully, the temperature will start heating up in the next day or two.
