Leave it to our kids to end up solving a concern that we’ve had in this home since we bought it. They were the last to leave home and they are nearly out of school. But our kids still come home for Christmas and that’s when they ended up saving us when it comes to the heating costs that have been haunting us for quite some time. With finals and all the academic stuff they had on their schedule, our kids weren’t able to get much shopping done. They were in their dorm rooms with the radiant heating studying too much to get that done as well. Aday or 2 after they got home for Christmas break, they saw it fit to go out shopping. They can be so efficient they had a great list and were able to knock all of that out hastily. Our kids ended up going inside the residential Heating & Air Conditioning of one of those big box home improvement stores. They were looking for something in particular for themselves. But that’s when they ran across an instant read temperature gun. Our kids picked it up and they said that this is what we needed for prepping the house. We did not understand what they meant when it came to that sort of tool. But our kids know we’re trying to tighten the home up to eliminate the loss of heating.
