They were putting the tools back in the HVAC truck
We know that this sounds super mean, but the other afternoon when the Heating and A/C servicemen were at our cottage working on our furnace, they tripped and fell right off of our porch.
We couldn’t help it and we burst out laughing when they pitched headlong into the flower bed.
Both of us think that sounds awful but the way that they fell was just so funny that we couldn’t help ourselves. We actually felt awful about the fact that they had fallen down but once we realized that they didn’t hurt themselves, we could not help but laugh at them. They had been at our cottage for 2 hours working on the furnace for us and we had been talking and having a nice conversation together while they were fixing the furnace. Often, we don’t suppose that we are that rude, but this time we couldn’t help it for some reason. They were gathering up all of their tools to start putting them back into the Heating & A/C truck when they were done with the furnace repair and that’s when they somehow ended up getting tripped up over their own feet. The guys yelled funny yells and then ended up face first right into the flower bed next to the front porch. We don’t know why in the world we couldn’t stop ourselves from laughing but we just couldn’t. Both of us apologized to them and tried to help them up, but they wouldn’t let us. We suppose that they were honestly mad that we laughed at them.
