I just purchased a brand new central A/C
I was thrilled when I heard I was being considered for a promotion at work.
It was just a rumor from somebody in human resources, but he had a strong feeling that it was based on fact.
I started pulling in more weight at toil & offered to take up a few overtime days as a way to take stress off of my managers. I think they noticed the effort I was putting in because I was called into their office about a week later. I was thrilled when they told me that I was being offered a promotion & a raise. I had to act as surprised as I possibly could because I did not want the person in the human resources department to get in trouble for telling me about the raise & promotion ahead of time. It’s okay because I was still so happy that I doubt that they could figure out from my reaction alone. It was just undoubtedly nice to finally feel valued for the toil that I put in at my job, but and with all the extra cash that’s been coming in I’m able to afford upgrades at condo as well. I decided to treat my partner to a brand new A/C, however our old one has been in this house for 17 years. While we’ve only been living here for 6 years, my friend and I knew that the A/C would need to be replaced eventually. However, my friend and I did not have the cash to replace the central A/C until now. I’m just happy that I can finally get the toil done. Then we’ll have an A/C that works efficiently without wasting too much electricity in the process.
