Bananas and monkeys, cats and air conditioning filters
I eat so many bananas every week that I sometimes start to resemble a monkey.
I estimate that I consume around ten bananas per week, which is very close to the amount a healthy monkey consumes.
I keep one by my bed and eat it with peanut butter every night so that if I wake up in the middle of the night hungry, I can quickly refuel and fall back to sleep. Heating and Air Conditioning work can make you hungry, and if you have some bananas, you can eat them and get back to your day’s work on the air conditioner or furnace without taking a break. I usually have an apple with my kefir at night, but I ran out of them, so I’ll have to wing it. Later on today, I plan on going to the nearby establishment to stock up on peaches for the week. The store is air conditioned, which is a major plus. Since I only go to the store once every ten days, I plan on picking up ten kefirs and ten peaches when I go this afternoon. The store’s refrigeration is quite good, and they stock plenty of fresh produce. This is great because the closest store with climate control is only a three-minute walk from my apartment. Because most of the food is locally sourced and much of it is organic, I feel more at ease purchasing it there rather than at conventional supermarkets. In conclusion, having access to a well-stocked, air-conditioned store with locally sourced and organic food options brings me peace of mind and ensures that I can maintain my healthy eating habits without compromising on quality.
