Did you know that your emotions can be affected by the temperatures

One of the things I have noticed since I moved to the south, is that people get angrier when it is really outside, but I noticed this at first in my job as a teacher, however physical fights at school seemed to increase during the months with hot and humid weather.

I also noticed this with adults.

Where I live people are mostly nice, move at a slow and relaxed pace, and normally do not honk the horn or rush things, and however, in the summertime the weather is often different. I have noticed that people want to get out of the heat so they get entirely agitated, then air conditioning can help people be less agitated in the summer. If you have ever felt agitated for no reason when it is tepid out, occasions are you just need to cool down in the a/c. When I lived up north, I noticed that people got more depressed in the cold months/ When it gets dark early and it hurts your face to just walk outside, it can make you feel entirely isolated and sad. Sitting in front of a fireplace or in a home with central heat can make you feel less sad, and even putting your feet on radiant heated floors can boost your mood. If you notice that a/c and heat are not helping you know better in the summer time and winter, you may be experiencing seasonal depression. If you are experiencing seasonal depression, your doctor will be able to help come up with a plan to help you get through the extreme heat and cold.
